Al-Taj News – The Atlantic reported that Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, confronted his father, arguing that his war against Iran contradicts his campaign promises to avoid new conflicts in the Middle East.
The magazine quoted its sources as saying that the U.S. president’s son expresses his opposition to the conflict with Iran in private meetings and voices his concerns directly to his father, but avoids criticizing him publicly.
In addition, the magazine reported that U.S. Vice President JD Vance expressed his opposition to launching military operations during private conversations in February, when the question of joining the Israeli campaign was under discussion. Others, including CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, also expressed doubts about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements in February, in which he claimed that carrying out an operation against Tehran was a realistic possibility, even if a remote one.
